A couple of weeks ago a Breanna and I went to the Phoenix Zoo with a few of her friends. While we were waiting to get in, we decided to see how many turtles we could count. Of course we only found one. On the way out, when we were in a rush, there were several sitting on the logs.

These are Breanna friends that we went with. It wasn't easy to get them all to sit down at once, in the same place.
When we got in, the first thing the kids see are the giraffes. Luckily it was feeding time. They loved watching them eat. The only part they did not like, was the hay falling down on them.
This is one of my favorite exhibits. The kids loved that they where able to see the moneys up close. Before they went in, we where warned that the monkeys pee everywhere, and make sure we washed our hands after we left. The kids could not get that out of their heads. They were obsessed with the pee. I just did not want to get peed on. The monkeys climb over your head. Luckily one of them peed right in front in front of us. I was glad that they were not on top of us.
My favorite is always the orangutans. The baby and its mom where so cute.
